We collect the following information when you use BillBird:

  • Account data: Email address and hashed password (via Supabase)
  • Invoice data: Business names, client names, email addresses, invoice amounts, and line items you enter
  • Usage data: Invoice creation and sending activity
  • Payment data: Subscription status (payment details are held by Stripe, not by us)

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the BillBird service
  • To send invoices on your behalf via email (Pro plan)
  • To process subscription payments
  • To communicate service updates or support responses

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your invoice content for advertising or training AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
  • Resend — Email delivery for invoice sending (Pro plan)
  • Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at hello@getbillbird.app.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us at hello@getbillbird.app to exercise these rights.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
